Top 5 of 2014: Best TV Series

Although it will take a while for me to write most film related top fives since most of the ‘2014’ releases are in January and February in South Africa, the TV season has been able to keep quite up to date with the US. One of these still has a final episode next week, but the others have had their closure earlier in the year. Here is my top 5 for Television Series in 2014:

5. House of Cards (Season 2)

The longer I watch House of Cards, the more I get concerned that this is apparently President Obama’s favorite TV show. Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is an evil man, yet we love watching his malicious route to power in the corridors of the White House. recently had to come to terms with saying goodbye to a project I poured my heart and soul into. Seven years ago we moved into our house. At the time we had one 2.5yo girl and a brand new baby boy. I poured all my creative juices into painting (no decals) their new bedrooms, my daughter in the larger room, the baby in the smaller, and these were the results:
